AECOM is seeking a Rail Systems Design Manager to lead the rail systems team in Southern California. You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to oversee design and delivery in alignment with standards and client expectations.

This role requires oversight of all project phases, strong leadership, and experience in rail disciplines such as overhead contact systems, train control, and power systems. Hybrid work model in Orange, CA area is offered.

Formación

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• 15 years of experience in the design and management of complex rail projects.
• Technical competence in transit/rail systems engineering.
• Ability to ensure compliance with clients, local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee rail systems delivery across all project phases in line with PM processes.
• Resolve rail systems issues, including design-build coordination and testing.
• Develop and improve strategies, procedures, and tools for oversight.
• Ensure design elements comply with Rail Operation Rules and standards.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to mid-career staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients.
