AECOM seeks a Track Engineer to join the transportation team in Chicago, IL. This hybrid role supports heavy rail, light rail and commuter rail projects across the Chicago region, coordinating with CTA, Metra, Amtrak and other rail partners.

The engineer will design track alignments, prepare specifications, and collaborate with civil, structural and rail systems groups through design development and project delivery. AECOM emphasizes safety, quality, and career growth.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or demonstrated equivalency.
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• PE license in Illinois or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• 5 years in design; rail/transit experience a plus.
• Strong skills in track alignment design and CADD using MicroStation/AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Perform track and civil design for rail and transit projects of varying scale and complexity.
• Develop track alignments, corridor models, plans, profiles and cross sections.
• Support track and civil discipline leads on major infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, calculations, reports and design documentation.
• Coordinate track design with civil, road, structural and rail systems teams.
• Assist project managers with coordination, scope and schedule.
