Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Rail Lead to manage rail systems and track components for major Southern California programs. You will oversee design coordination, reviews, and field construction while guiding multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

The role requires a CA-licensed PE with 25+ years in rail/transit, strong leadership, and experience with large urban projects. Advanced degrees preferred; AREMA/CPUC/FRA familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering and PE license (CA).
• 25+ years of progressive construction/engineering experience, rail focus.
• Experience on large urban transit projects; familiarity with AREMA/CPUC/FRA.
• U.S. transit agency project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design coordination, and construction oversight for rail systems.
• Provide technical leadership through all project phases (pre-construction to commissioning).
• Coordinate with civil, structural, systems, and operations teams for integration.
