AECOM seeks a Signals Discipline Lead to advance rail and transit signal systems, guiding design, development, and field implementation for light rail, commuter rail, heavy rail, and freight projects. You will lead signal design packages, analysis, and construction documentation, delivering on-time technical solutions across multiple projects.

You will mentor mid-level and junior engineers, perform QA/QC reviews, and coordinate interfaces with traction power, communications, and control systems

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 8+ years of rail signaling experience.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• Experience with AREMA guidelines and FRA regulations.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• Experience with reading and programming logic, including vital logic.
• Experience with microprocessor-based vital logic controllers (ElectroLogIXS and Microlock II).

Aufgaben

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of rail signal systems across light rail, commuter, heavy, and freight rail.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and QA/QC reviews.
• Develop signal design packages and construction documents.
• Coordinate interfaces with traction power, communications, SCADA, OCS, train control, and other systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, BOMs, and design reports.
• Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, and revenue service implementations.
