Job summary

Egis is seeking a BIM Manager - Rail & Systems for our Sacramento, CA office to lead BIM strategy on the California High-Speed Rail project. The role requires relocation if outside the local area and overseeing cross-disciplinary BIM delivery.

You will coordinate digital models across track, OCS, signaling, telecom, and other teams, ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations while guiding teams in BIM tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• BIM project management experience on railway projects.
• In-depth knowledge of railway systems (track, OCS, signaling, telecom).
• Fluent professional English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and manage BIM strategy for Rail & Systems on the CA HSR project.
• Coordinate production and integration of BIM across teams and disciplines.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet requirements, standards, and client expectations.
• Lead BIM meetings and train teams in BIM tools and processes.
• Manage BIM interfaces with other project areas (civil works, equipment, operations).
• Ensure data quality, traceability, and security of BIM data.
• Prepare BIM documentation (standards, conventions, procedures).
