Job summary
Cando Rail & Terminals in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Switchperson/Track Mobile Operator to safely switch rail cars at customer sites and at terminals. This outdoor role rewards physical effort, problem solving, and teamwork within a strong safety culture.

Qualifications
- Grade 12 or GED is required by role.
- Experience in industrial workplace or equipment operations is an asset.
- Rail experience is an asset.
- Class 5 driver's license is an asset.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and medical clearances.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe locomotive operation and conduct briefings.
- Operate switches and derails; manage air hoses; release handbrakes.
- Perform daily locomotive inspections.
- Complete daily reports and logs.
- Support on-site operations and customer service.
- Follow all operating rules and safety regulations.
- Report safety, equipment, and track problems promptly.
- Participate in training and company initiatives.
