Qualifications

• Proven track record in planning, prioritizing and executing plans in a safe environment.
• Proficient knowledge of S&C equipment, signal principals, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• On-call operations availability and field coordination experience.
• Good computer skills with common office software and SAP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Directs safety leadership and cultivates continuous improvement in workplace safety.
• Oversees analysis of signal failures to reduce recurrence and improve reliability.
• Ensures S&C systems meet acceptable safety standards and approves new installations.
• Maintains comprehensive records of equipment, installations and tests.
• Coordinates with maintenance and construction teams to maximize productivity.
• Coaches junior staff on technical aspects as required.
• Distributes S&C alerts and coordinates field actions.
• Utilizes collective bargaining agreements for effective work management.
