Cando Rail & Terminals is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations, lead safety initiatives, and manage staff on on-site industrial switching tasks. This role emphasizes a strong safety culture, teamwork, and cost-effective service delivery to customers.

The position requires directing workflow, supervising contractors, and coordinating training to maintain high performance across sites while ensuring compliance with industry standards and company programs.

Formación

• Experience managing railway personnel in a customer-focused environment.
• Minimum two years in a leadership position preferably in the rail switching and/or industrial environment.
• One year experience working with Safety Management Systems in an industrial environment.
• One year experience developing and managing capital and operating budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee safety management activities, incident reporting, and process improvements.
• Coordinate workflow, staff scheduling, and daily site operations to meet customer needs.
• Supervise contractors and ensure on-site personnel have necessary skills and resources.
• Assist with invoicing, purchasing, and tracking key consumables while monitoring equipment maintenance.
