Job summary

North American Rail Solutions (NARS) is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives and ensure DOT and environmental regulatory compliance across projects. You will develop policies, conduct training, perform audits, and manage incident investigations.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in safety management within large-scale industries, with relevant OSHA/DOT certifications and a strong focus on preventing incidents and promoting a culture of safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field preferred.
  • Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA, 30-hour Construction Safety and Industry Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and follow-up.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs.
  • Maintain comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on-site or at project locations.
  • Provide guidance on health and safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
