Job summary

North American Rail Solutions seeks a skilled Safety Manager to ensure a safe workplace and DOT compliance across regional projects. You will develop safety policies, lead trainings, and oversee environmental health programs on-site or at project locations.

You will collaborate with management to promote safety culture and manage incident investigations. The role requires at least 5 years in safety management within large-scale rail or construction contexts, with relevant OSHA/DOT certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in safety management in large-scale projects.
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA, and 30-hour Construction Safety.
• Experience with OSHA, DOT (FMCSA), PHMSA, FRA, and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety meetings, audits, and inspections.
• Plan and conduct safety training programs.
• Maintain environmental safety and health programs on sites.
• Provide guidance on health and safety to project teams.
• Develop Emergency Action Plan and manage incident investigations.
• Travel as needed with valid driver's license.
• Keep safety records and compliance documentation.
