Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites aspiring engineers to join a 10–12 week Quality Engineering Internship in Rail Infrastructure. The role offers hands-on exposure to factory processes, manufacturing techniques, and cross-functional problem solving under our Quality Team in Homestead, PA.

Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors pursuing an engineering degree, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a keen interest in rail industry processes, project management, and operations.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Must reside near internship location The Waterfront in Homestead, PA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred: previous internship experience or relevant school projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in factory product quality and process quality activities.
• Assist in product inspections for incoming parts and system assemblies.
• Perform PFMEA studies to determine failure modes.
• Support problem solving investigations for quality issues.
• Incorporate academic knowledge into real world solutions.
• Conduct process audits in factory or functional areas.
