Job summary

Siemens Mobility US is seeking aspiring engineers for a 10-12 week internship in the Quality Department. You will gain exposure to factory processes and manufacturing techniques that translate designs into reality, under the supervision of our Quality Team.

You will work in a cross-functional environment to solve problems and drive continual improvement, while applying academic knowledge to real-world quality challenges. Eligible candidates reside near Homestead, PA.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
• Must reside or go to school near internship location The Waterfront in Homestead, Pa.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product inspections for incoming parts and system assemblies.
• Perform PFMEA studies to determine failure modes and risks.
• Support problem solving investigations for quality issues.
• Incorporate academic knowledge into solutions to real world problems.
• Conduct process audits in factory or functional areas, Quality, Procurement, Engineering.
