Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Pittsburgh, PA, offers a 10-12 week internship to explore the Rail Infrastructure domain. You will join the Project Management Office to learn how project excellence and continuous improvement shape project delivery and outcomes.

Open to rising juniors/seniors pursuing a BA/BS in Computer Science with strong technical or analytical aptitude, with 40 hours/week June–August and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Education: current sophomore or junior undergrad pursuing a BA/BS in Computer Science with strong technical or analytical aptitude.
• Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August.
• Work Authorization: must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Prior internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership potential.
• Strong analytical, writing, presentation, and critical-thinking skills.
• Industry knowledge/interest in rail/PMO.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with our standard PMO processes.
• Collaborate with PMO, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to assess current practices.
• Identify opportunities for improvement using automation or AI solutions.
• Implement proposed solutions to streamline resource management, cost, quality, scheduling, and document/configuration management.
• Test and monitor the implemented solutions and assist in rolling out to relevant groups.
