Job summary

R.J. Corman Railroad Company in Towanda, PA seeks an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee railroad operations, personnel, and assets. You will coordinate daily schedules, supervise crew members, and stand in for the Operations Manager as needed.

Applicants should be familiar with FRA safety rules, demonstrate leadership, and possess strong communication skills. Railroad experience and supervisory background are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable general management of railroad operations.
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and supervising personnel, materials, tools, and equipment in daily operations.
• Perform the duties of the Train Crew Members they supervise as needed.
• Fill in for the Operations Manager in his/her absence.
• Apply FRA safety rules and procedures
• Maintain availability 24/7/365 for emergencies and operational needs.
