Job summary

Nomad Digital is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver mobile network solutions across the rail sector, including fault repair and testing. The role requires a minimum of three years' IT support or engineering maintenance experience, willingness to travel, and rotating shifts including nights and weekends to meet rail environment demands.

You will work with in-house and third-party technologies, install and configure routers, APs, switches, and manage RF/Wi‑Fi aspects.

Qualifications

• IT / Wifi or Cellular Networking background.
• 2nd line field technical support experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and troubleshoot mobile network solutions on customer equipment.
• Respond to field incidents with proactive fault finding and RCA.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party techs to resolve issues.
• Support on-train and trackside environments with on-site deployments.
