CSX Corporation in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Manager Mechanical Components - Air Brake and Specialized Equipment to lead operations, ensuring quality and safety of inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of cars and locomotives, while driving compliance with AAR, FRA, EPA, and CSXT policies.

You will oversee field management practices, coordinate with Car Management, Fleet Planning, and outside shops; administer financial and reporting activities; advance program execution and training systems;

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in railroad equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in train inspections, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting & repair, regulatory requirements, industry standards.

Mansioni

• Review and manage specialized equipment and multi-level disposition, repair, re-certification and scrap activities.
• Administer specialized equipment and multi-level financial, fleet and reporting activities.
• Coordinate specialized equipment and multi-level program execution, compliance and equipment flow with Car Management, Mechanical Transportation Officers, contract shops and vendors.
• Review and analyze LOR failures and train incidents/stops and develop corrective action plans.
• Continuously review and identify improvements in management reporting, information flow and business processes.
• Coach, develop and mentor field management to ensure compliance with AAR rules and FRA regulations.
