Job summary

Savage is seeking a Financial & Logistics Coordinator (Business Process) in Chicago, IL. You will support rail logistics and financial data processing, acting as the backbone between field operations and back-office teams.

The role emphasizes data integrity, account handling, and process improvements within an in-office, Monday–Friday schedule. Overtime may apply and travel for training is possible.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent in business, accounting, finance, logistics or related field.
• Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, including AP/AR and month-end processes.
• Experience supporting industrial, rail, or logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and manage inventory transactions.
• Coordinate railcar inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain shipment documentation and bills of lading.
• Process invoices and accounts payable transactions and support financial reporting.
