Iron Oak Energy Solutions in Wedron, IL is seeking a Rail Logistics Coordinator to support our logistics team. You will monitor outbound railcars, troubleshoot delays, and communicate with railroads and customers to keep shipments on schedule.

The role requires 3–5 years in rail logistics, strong Excel skills, and experience with TMS/ERP systems. A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred. Competitive benefits and a pay range of $65,000–$78,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, focus in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in rail logistics, preferably in bulk commodities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple functions at one time.
• Strong orientation towards teamwork.
• Great organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Experience working in TMS and ERP systems; Bourque Logistics and IFS Products is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, highly proficient in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitor outbound loaded railcars to ensure they move according to plan.
• Intervene to move stalled cars using available tools.
• Communicate with railroads and customers daily.
• Prepare and analyze shipment reports and railcar fleets.
• Create and follow up on trouble tickets in railroad systems.
• Assist in rail demurrage dispute process and cost comparisons.
