Job summary

Enviva LP in the United States is seeking a Rail Loadout Operator to support our 24x7 loading operations. You will load trucks, monitor equipment, and ensure safe, efficient operation while maintaining quality and inventory records.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to follow precise instructions, and teamwork in a noisy industrial environment. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Operate truck load out equipment including HMI touchscreen and adjust according to product output.
• Follow all workplace and job safety procedures.
• Confirm all reporting and inventory accurately completed as required.
• Communicate operational information and Escalate issues promptly for proper resolution.
• Enter maintenance work requests as applicable.
• Perform/coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions.
• Perform/coordinate housekeeping to maintain to required standard.
• Perform other duties as required and serve as a back-up resource as needed.

The Rail Loadout Operator is responsible for loading all trucks scheduled and maintaining quality, housekeeping, and safety in the truck load out area.

Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
• Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
• Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery
• Willing and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
