Job summary

Enviva is seeking a Rail Loadout Operator in Mississippi to load trucks scheduled for delivery while maintaining quality, housekeeping, and safety in the load-out area. You will perform inspections, operate loadout equipment, and ensure accurate reporting and inventory control.

The role requires working multiple shifts, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. A team-oriented mindset is essential in this outdoor, industrial environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work multiple shift schedules to support 24x7 operations.
  • Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions.
  • Proficient in mathematics and measurement.
  • Team player demonstrated with past work experience or activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Operate truck load out equipment including HMI touchscreen and adjust according to product output
  • Follow all workplace and job safety procedures.
  • Confirm all reporting and inventory accurately completed as required.
  • Communicate operational information and escalate issues promptly for proper resolution.
  • Enter maintenance work requests as applicable.
  • Perform/coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions.
  • Perform/coordinate housekeeping to maintain to required standard.
  • Perform other duties as required and serve as a back-up resource as needed.

The Rail Loadout Operator is responsible for loading all trucks scheduled and maintaining quality, housekeeping, and safety in the truck load out area.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Operate truck load out equipment including HMI touchscreen and adjust according to product output
  • Follow all workplace and job safety procedures.
  • Confirm all reporting and inventory accurately completed as required.
  • Communicate operational information and Escalate issues promptly for proper resolution.
  • Enter maintenance work requests as applicable.
  • Perform/coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions.

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
  • Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machineryWilling and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
