Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is hiring a Rail Loadout Operator to run rail loading equipment, monitor processes, and coordinate with rail crews and plant teams.

You will perform routine checks, report maintenance needs, and uphold safety and environmental procedures while contributing to on-time production goals. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and team communication across shifts.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate rail loadout systems to safely and efficiently load materials into railcars
  • Monitor loading processes and inspect equipment to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Coordinate with rail crews, plant personnel, and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures while supporting production goals
What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
