Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Rail Loader/Unloader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated to load/unload railcars, assist with rail yard switching, and perform light track and equipment maintenance.

This role requires vigilance for quality, ability to operate surrounding equipment, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends. Training may be provided to operate various heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Experience with conveyor or mobile equipment maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload railcars safely and efficiently.
• Ensure materials are loaded/unloaded and stockpiled to meet quality requirements.
• Keep plant areas clean and perform basic housekeeping of locomotive operations.
• Perform daily inspections and assist with maintenance on equipment under guidance.
• Support rail operations and help with training of coworkers as needed.
