Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a full-time Loader – Switching Technician in the Kentucky area. The role involves inspecting railcars and loading equipment before transfer, connecting or disconnecting hoses, inspecting for leaks, weighing railcars, and completing required paperwork.

You may also assist with rail switching, planning movements, and operating equipment to move railcars as needed. Applicants should be fluent in English, able to pass a drug screen and background check, and be willing to work

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required for written and verbal communication.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect railcar and loading equipment to ensure safe transfer.
• Connect or disconnect loading arm hose for product transfer.
• Inspect for leaks, weigh railcars, and complete required paperwork.
• Plan railcar movements by examining track list to spot, separate, load, or build for shipment.
• May operate trackmobile or locomotive to move railcars safely.
• Communicate with rail team members, leadership, and customer contacts.
• Complete any other duties assigned to finish the job.
