Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a proven track record in accurate estimating and cost planning across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities include developing cost plans from concept to design, presenting updates at milestones, coordinating staff, and supporting program-level estimating and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management.
• Minimum 5 years of civil infrastructure estimating experience.
• Rail experience highly preferred.
• Experience providing conceptual/pre-construction estimating services.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction projects and programs.
• Knowledge of value management and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design across regions.
• Deliver updated cost plans at design milestones.
• Provide program-level estimates for specific scopes of work.
• Coordinate, manage, and supervise work of support staff.
• Review design changes and prepare estimates with appropriate accuracy.
• Help drive cost model trends by analyzing cost information from projects.
• Assess cost effectiveness of alternate products and value engineering ideas.
• Support training on new estimating tools/templates.
• Prepare leadership presentations for Preconstruction and Estimating teams.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.
