Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Estimator to deliver detailed cost estimates for electrical systems on construction projects.

You will review plans, collaborate with project teams, perform risk analysis, and provide value engineering options to support cost management and project success.

On-site role with evolving client coordination and use of industry-standard estimating software to support project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant construction cost estimation experience.
• Experience supporting program-level cost management for medium or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in construction projects.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required materials.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive cost management plans.
• Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering options.
• Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Utilize industry-specific estimating software and tools to prepare estimates.
• Provide estimating advice, guidance, and analysis to project stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of estimating processes and methodologies.
• Prepare formal estimating reports including quantity, cost, escalation, and clarifications.
