Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Construction Engineer in New York to contribute to infrastructure/rail projects. You will work with field inspectors and project teams to collect data, develop estimates, and support schedules and budgets, while ensuring quality and safety across activities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Construction Management (or related field) and 2+ years of relevant experience, with familiarity with MTA or similar rail agencies a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and analysis.
• Collect and manage data for engineering or construction work and prepare estimates.
• Prepare project data for schedules and budgets; monitor progress reports.
• Assist in change orders negotiations with contractors.
• Review contractor invoicing for quantities and enter invoices into the system.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
