Job summary

The AZEK Company/TimberTech Wilmington division is seeking a Grinder Operator for the Rail Plant for Day Shift. The Grinder Operator is responsible for removing scrap from production lines and running it through grinding equipment for reuse in manufacturing.

This role reports to the Production Supervisor and follows safety and quality standards. Core duties include feeding material, maintaining dust collection, separating scrap and regrind by color, and supporting staging of materials.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Must be self-directed and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to accident-free operations and comply with safety and quality regulations.
• Fill hopper with sorted material to be ground.
• Change dust collection bags for the extrusion area.
• Separate scrap and regrind by color with proper tagging.
• Support production in staging bins, skids, and regrind.
