Job summary

The AZEK Company/TimberTech Wilmington division is seeking a Grinder Operator for the PVC/ Rail Plant on the Day Shift. You will remove scrap material from production lines and run it through grinding equipment for reuse, ensure the dust collection system is emptied, and regrind material lines are supplied.

This role reports to Production Supervisor. We’re looking for a high-energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be self-directed and motivated in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to push/pull/lift 10–100 lbs and stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to accident-free operations and comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Fill hopper with sorted material to be ground.
• Change dust collection bags for extrusion area.
• Separate scrap and regrind by color and tag appropriately.
• Provide production support for staging bins, skids, and regrind materials.
• Operate forklift following safe procedures and perform daily forklift checks.
• Inform Maintenance or Supervisor of any grinding equipment issues.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision/management.
