Job summary

Atkore in Dallas, TX is seeking a Grinder for day shift (7:00am–7:00pm) at $20.00/hr. You will regrind materials for reuse under the supervision of the Operations Manager and ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.

Responsibilities include weighing inventory, following grinding schedules, loading material into the grinder, staging for jobs, and performing maintenance and cleanup of production and storage areas. PPE compliance and safety rules are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience or ability to operate forklift safely.
• Strong math, counting and basic calculations.
• Attention to detail and time management in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to follow safety rules and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Regrind materials for reuse according to schedule.
• Weigh inventory and stage material for jobs.
• Load material into grinder and pelletize for reprocessing.
• Perform maintenance and cleanup of production and storage areas.
