Qualdoc is seeking an Assistant Field Operations Manager in Candor, NC to lead railroad field crews, coordinate projects, and oversee safety and operations across multiple sites. The role involves hands-on support for derailments, rerailing, lifting, railcar work, and track maintenance.

The ideal candidate has field leadership experience, strong communication skills, and is comfortable working in demanding environments. Travel, on-call scheduling, and extended hours may be required.

Qualificações

• Experience in railroad, heavy equipment, construction, or related field operations.
• Previous experience leading or supervising field-based teams.
• Working knowledge of DOT and FRA regulations.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn operational software.

Responsabilidades

• Support Supervisors and field crews across multiple assignments.
• Coordinate daily work, manpower, equipment, schedules, and project priorities.
• Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, safety, and costs.
• Provide hands-on direction, coaching, and problem-solving in the field.
• Respond to emergency railroad service calls when needed.
• Conduct regular job-site visits to identify safety concerns, operational risks, and quality issues.
