Job summary

HDR Rail offers an opportunity for Engineering in Training professionals to grow within a collaborative, employee-owned environment. You will contribute to planning, design and delivery of rail infrastructure projects across North America, working with engineers, project managers and technical specialists.

You will gain experience on track, facilities, civil infrastructure, environmental services, and advisory support, with mentorship and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
EIT certification and/or plan to pursue licensure.
Experience with rail, transportation, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Support planning, design, construction and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
Assist with calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, environmental, advisory, technology and construction disciplines.
Participate in site visits, field assessments and project walkthroughs.
