Responsibilities

• Communication responsibilities: obtain, receive, and act on information; monitor and report daily work.
• Switching: operate track switches and derails; ensure proper alignment.
• Train and equipment inspections: inspect cars per federal regulations; report conditions.
• Daily work in safety-sensitive environments under extreme weather conditions.
• Adhere to safety policies; wear PPE and report concerns.
