RailPros is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern to join our rail infrastructure team in San Diego. You will contribute to the design and development of rail projects, working with seasoned professionals, and gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard CAD software.

You will collaborate with engineers to create detailed drawings, learn to ensure compliance with standards, and participate in QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing aBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design development with the rail design team to contribute to rail projects.
• Collaborate with rail engineers on detailed drawings, plans and specifications.
• CAD modeling and drafting using MicroStation to create accurate models and drawings.
• Assist in ensuring designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Data analysis related to rail projects.
• Work with cross‑functional teams including engineers and project managers.
• Communicate progress and challenges effectively.
• Participate in QA/QC to ensure designs are accurate and meet client standards.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
