RailPros invites a Civil Engineer Intern to join our rail infrastructure team in San Diego or Chicago. You will contribute to design development, assist with CAD modeling using MicroStation, and gain hands-on experience under experienced engineers.

Pursuing a ABET/EAC accredited Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; strong communication, detail, and teamwork expected; mentorship and path to full-time employment offered.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn CAD tools and integrate with design teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist design development for rail infrastructure projects.
  • Create and modify CAD drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers.
  • Participate in QA/QC activities to ensure design accuracy.
