Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Tullahoma, TN seeks experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technicians to join our team. The role includes performing x-ray exams, equipment operation, film development, and related Medical Assistant duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Full-time rotation with 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend; PRN options are available. We offer a competitive salary with health, retirement, PTO, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to the next step in treatment.
• Communicate wait times and appointment flow to patients.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and escalate emergencies.
• Perform follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk with check-in/check-out when needed.
• Record vitals, history, and current medications accurately.
• Assist with patient transfers and radiology procedures.
• Maintain documentation per procedures and regulatory guidelines.
