Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our Cookeville, TN team. The role includes operating imaging equipment, developing films, and supporting Medical Assistant duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Full-time work with a rotating 36-40 hour week, 12-hour weekday shifts, and every-other weekend. TN licensure and BLS are required; ARRT certification preferred. Exciting opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage patient flow in waiting, exam, and radiology rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Document vitals, histories, medications, and allergies accurately.
• Perform radiology procedures and quality control to ensure accurate exams.
• Maintain radiology equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
