Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners is seeking a Radiology Veterinary Assistant to support our board-certified radiologist in imaging procedures and patient care. You will assist with ultrasound, CT, and other imaging services while helping with clerical tasks to ensure smooth workflow.

You will restrain patients safely, monitor during sedation, and maintain detailed records. Open availability and a willingness to assist across departments are valued in a fast-paced specialty hospital.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong patient handling and restraint skills with fear-free care.
• Experience with sedated and anesthetized patients preferred.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary anatomy and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist during imaging procedures (ultrasound, CT).
• Restrain patients safely to minimize stress.
• Monitor patients under sedation or anesthesia.
• Prepare patients and imaging areas for procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist with clerical tasks and data entry for radiology.
• Coordinate communication among doctors, techs and service teams.
• Keep radiology workspaces clean and stocked.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Support other departments during slower periods.
