Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking a Radiology Veterinary Assistant to support imaging procedures and patient care in a busy clinical setting. You will assist with preparing patients, instruments, and medications, and help perform radiographs, CTs, ultrasound, and MRIs while maintaining strong client and patient relationships.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience preferred.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, dosages, unit conversions).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient procedures: prepare patients, instruments, medications.
• Assist with radiographs, CTs, ultrasound imaging and MRIs.
• Manage appointments: histories, records, invoicing, discharges.
• Drive the MedVet Experience to ensure high quality patient care.
• Inspire, teach, multitask and be a strong team member.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation.

This team focuses on developing strong client and patient relationships due to many cases requiring dailytreatments. You must be able todrivethe MedVet experience of excellent patient care and compassion.

Whatyou’lldo:

• Assistin patient procedures: preparation of patients, instruments,equipmentand medications
• Assistwith the execution of radiographs, CTs, ultrasound imaging and MRIs
• Manage appointments: obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
• Drive the MedVet Experience and ensure our patients receive the highest quality care
• Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member
• Ensure documentation isaccurateand complete

Whoyou are:

• Prior veterinary experience preferred
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
• Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
