Qualifications

• At least two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or emergency room setting.
• Ability to learn to conduct quality control studies and use computerized radiologic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physician and Registered Nurse with basic patient care.
• Perform patient skill sets and diagnostic testing using x-ray and CT equipment.
• Produce quality images for radiology interpretations.
• Report lab and radiology results to the registered nurse and physician.

Skills

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Knowledge of x-ray technology trends

Basic computer knowledge

Education

Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent with diploma/certification from accredited school of Radiology Technologist

ARRT Certification

CPR/BLS Certification

Current license from Texas Department of State Health Service for Radiology Technologist
