Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to patients under the direction of the registered nurse and/or physician.
• Performs patient skill sets such as taking vital signs and blood draws.
• Operates diagnostic testing equipment in accordance with protocol.
• Produces quality images for radiological interpretations.
• Reports lab and radiology results to registered nurse or physician.
• Assists with assessments, examinations, and treatments.

Skills

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Knowledge of x-ray technology

Ability to learn computerized radiologic equipment

Basic computer knowledge

Education

Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent

ARRT Certification

CPR/BLS Certification

Current license from Texas Department of State Health Service
