Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6 am - 6:30 pm

• Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando

The role you’ll contribute:

Performs Radiographic imaging procedures, positions, moves, and assists patients. Performs clerical duties and basic patient care within scope of practice and departmental standards. Adheres to hospital compliance plans, local, state, and Federal regulations, and accrediting standards.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Performs exams using established protocols, properly identifies patients, educates them about the exam, and screens for contrast allergies.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and other medical devices. Capable of performing scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Properly screens patients of childbearing age, minimizes radiation exposure, practices infection control standards, and uses PPE and disinfectants. Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked room.
• Completes documentation for Radiologist support.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
• State license as a General Radiographer, as required by state
