You will perform procedures, coordinate with radiologists, use PACS/RIS/HIS EMR, mentor staff, and support daily operations; the position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Associate's or a certificate of completion from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 60 Days

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures accurately, efficiently and per standards.
• Initiates intervention to radiologist when exam requires immediate attention.
• Reviews indications for exams and reports inappropriate indications to supervisor.
• Provides exam data in complete and accurate format for interpretation.
• Uses PACS, RIS, HIS EMR systems and performs general clerical duties.
• Archives image data for permanent storage and sends images to radiologist group; retrieves from PACS or disc back-up.
• Maintains confidentiality and safety; complies with CARE principles.
• Assists/mentors staff with on-the-job training and clinical rotations

Education

Associate's or certificate in Radiologic Technology

ARRT Certification within 60 days
