Avera Flandreau Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic and CT equipment, producing diagnostic images under physician direction. You will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to moving health forward for patients and families.

Key responsibilities include performing procedures, coordinating with radiologists, and using PACS/RIS/HIS EMR systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Visual acuity adequate to perform duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team.
• ARRT certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs radiology procedures accurately per standards.
• Initiates intervention to radiologist when urgent.
• Reviews indications for exams and reports inappropriate ones.
• Provides exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS, RIS, HIS/EMR systems and handles clerical tasks.
• Archives images and manages CDs for reading radiologists.
• Maintains safety, quality, and infection control standards.
• Mentors staff/students and supports training.
• Assists with records collection and regulatory requirements.
