Qualifications

BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date is required.
Bone Density Certification may be required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
One or more of the following credentials must be held prior to hire: CCI Cardiographic Tech, ARRT Radiography, ARRT Sonography, or ARDMS Medical Sonography.

Responsibilities

Perform radiological procedures under the direction of a radiologist and provide high-quality images for interpretation.
Prepare and position patients, select exposure factors, and ensure proper documentation.
Administer contrast media within scope of practice and regulations.
Monitor patient during procedures and ensure radiation safety protocols.
Ensure timely submission of images to PACS with correct markers and data.
Maintain clean, organized departments and functional equipment.
