Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager. You will apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and may take on designated duties as an interim supervisor or instructor as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by ARRT requirements.
• Currently registered as an R.T.(ARRT) or eligible within one year from date of hire.
• Work experience may not substitute for education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager.
• Execute procedures with independent judgment and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Possibly designated as interim supervisor or instructor as assigned.
