UAB Medicine seeks a Radiology professional for PRN days/nights at UAB St Vincent's Blount. The role involves ensuring proper patient positioning, accurate parameters, and adherence to radiation safety standards as part of diagnostic imaging services.

The candidate will perform radiographic procedures, assist physicians in advanced techniques, manage contrast media per regulations, and ensure prompt submission of high-quality images to PACS, while maintaining a clean, safe department.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire
• Cardiographic Tech or ARRT Radiography/Sonography credentials
• Experience in radiology workflow and patient safety

Responsabilités

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards
• Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special and advanced procedures
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications per regulations
• Ensure high-quality images and accurate patient data sent to PACS
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department
