Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiology Director or Supervisor, performs technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology. Regulates equipment for exposing x-ray films, develops, and organizes films. Operates equipment safely, maintaining ALARA standards, within the scope of the A.R.R.T. standards. Establishes professional relationships with colleagues, departments, and medical staff.

Qualifications Needed:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Fingerprint clearance.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
