Schedule: PRN/ As Needed

Shift: Variable - need afternoon and weekend availability

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth East Orlando

AdventHealth East Orlando, a 265-bed community hospital, has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area. A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion upgraded the hospital to 265 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience. The annual number of emergency cases is approximately 89,018.

The Role You’ll Contribute

Performs Radiographic imaging procedures, positions, moves, and assists patients, performs clerical duties, and basic patient care within scope of practice and departmental standards. Adheres to hospital compliance, local, state, and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.

  • Performs exams using established protocols, properly identifies patients, educates patients about exams, screens for contrast allergies.
  • Operates imaging equipment safely, performs scans on patients of all ages, and adapts protocols as needed.
  • Minimizes radiation exposure, practices infection control, uses PPE, and maintains a clean, organized environment.
  • Completes documentation for Radiologist support.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent, with two years of related experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
  • 2 years experience required.
  • BLS certification.
  • ARRT Radiography Certification and registration.
  • State license as required.
