Join to apply for the Radiology Technologist - PRN role at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Located in Aiken, South Carolina, Aiken Regional Medical Centers is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the community. The hospital offers services such as emergency care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing rooms, equipment, contrast media, and materials for procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and stock of the X-Ray procedure room.
• Warming and ensuring proper functioning of X-Ray equipment.
• Preparing patients for X-ray procedures, explaining the process, and assisting during the procedure.
• Sending images to PACS and verifying their availability.
• Performing clerical and transportation duties as needed.
• Practicing patient care according to ARMC policies.
• Assisting radiologists during procedures and taking films as requested.
• Scheduling exams and considering age-related factors in imaging.
• Accepting additional work during low patient activity and assisting colleagues.
• Maintaining confidentiality and privacy of all data and records.
• Implementing radiation safety procedures at all times.
• Ensuring accurate patient charges and documentation.
• Responding to emergency situations and operating portable X-Ray and C-Arm machines.
• Attending staff meetings and participating in rotation requirements.
