Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopic exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history; address questions.
• Position patients, set exposure factors and provide radiation protection.
• Identify and label images, verify requisitions, and ensure exam accuracy.
• Assist and consult with Radiologists.
• Document studies in the radiology information system and code procedures for billing.
• Position and transfer patients, using proper technique and safety.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care; apply department policies and development considerations.
